- Provides guidance and leads architecture for the entire AWS cloud environment
- Leads the team in technical design of technology platforms, architectures, documentation, and principles.
- Sets high technical standards to ensure that the infrastructure is architected and implemented to support scalability.
- Recommends system enhancements and ensures the application is appropriately configured to support an organization's needs.
- Reviews/receives feedback from developers, analysts, and operations staff to create necessary improvement plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
- At least three years of experience in cloud computing, including a focus on the following: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or Infrastructure as a Network Service (IANS).
- Five years of experience with the AWS platform and knowledge of security best practices is required.
- Experience in building scalable, secure applications using multiple data center technologies (AWS EC2, Amazon RDS) and distributed systems (Elastic Load Balancing) preferred.
