Description

Main purpose:

To administer supplier contracts and monitor supplier performance, facilitate the procurement, demand management and disposal of goods and service in accordance with PFMA, SCM Policy, procedures and regulations and applicable SCM legislation.


Minimum qualification and experience:
B Degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Financial Management or Public Administration (NQF 6/7). 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management / Procurement and Contract Management.


Key performance areas (Include but not limited to): Contract Management. Supplier Performance Monitoring. Supply Chain Management Compliance. SCM Administration. Procurement of Goods and Services for the Head Office and Provinces. Tender Process. Demand Management. Disposal Management.


Technical skills:
Analysis. Communication. Interpersonal. Administration. Numeracy. Report writing. Planning and organising. Time management.


Required knowledge and Behavioural (include but not limited to):Knowledge of the PFMA, Preferential Procurement Framework Act (PPFA), BBBEE Act and related SCM legislation. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management policies, practices, processes and systems. Knowledge of contract drafting. Immediate MS Office proficiency. Team player. Attention to detail. Accuracy. Deadline driven. Ethical. Customer focussed. Independent. Work under pressure.
