About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Accountability

  • Leadership of client strategy, including business development.
  • Responsibility for endtoend operational performance of client journeys, including planning, execution and leadership of the delivery squad.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of design and delivery to ensure a consistent client experience and global bestpractice consulting

Consulting

  • Ability to facilitate client journeys in the classroom (virtual or physical) with senior executives and their teams in a confident, servicedriven manner while demonstrating a posture of trusted partnership.
  • Demonstrating highly professional interpersonal skills to engage with enabling functions(People & Culture, OD, Business Managers) that support the delivery of exceptional client outcomes.

Business Development in South Africa & African markets:

  • Support the continued growth of our South African/African client base by pro-actively collaborating with the CEO and other Senior Consultants on business development opportunities to within existing clients (client retention)

New clients/markets

  • Enthusiasm and hunger to collaborate with members of on client strategy, design, execution and problem solving
  • Effective client reporting and communication
  • Contributing to and shaping the culture in line with our values and as an 'in the team' member.
  • Actively contributing to the professional development of Sodia junior consultants /Graduates

  • Consulting experience and exposure to 'senior executives' and their enabling functions
  • Experience that can demonstrate the qualities of a 'trusted advisor'
  • Demonstrated client management experience that has successfully delivered against client strategies.
  • Able to work as part of a global team and the commitment that comes with collaborating with clients and colleagues across international time zones.
  • Able to travel interstate and internationally as required.
  • Intellectually curious always hungry to learn and grow personally and professionally.
  • Motivated by a challenge or problem and bring a solution orientated approach.
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative team orientated and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Great attention to detail whilst able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt the Sodia methodology is mission critical. We don't require an expert in what we do from day full configuration and training will be provided

Executives & their Enabling Functions

  • Know what it takes to successfully deliver against Account Strategies
  • Are comfortable working as part of a Global Team and the commitment that comes with this (early morning conference calls etc.)
  • Have the ability to manage up to four International trips per year (Australia, London... etc.)
  • Are based in Johannesburg (where our major clients are located)
  • Are intellectually curious always hungry to learn and grow personally and professionally
  • Are motivated by a challenge or problem, i.e. solutions oriented
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
