Main
Purpose:
To plan, direct, and manage all the audio-visual resources at the Wits Business School (WBS) and Wits School of Governance (WSG) in a manner that is efficient, best fit for purpose, and enhances stakeholders' satisfaction.
It is a supporting function with the responsibility of ensuring that audio-visual is aligned and strongly supports and enhances the teaching and learning strategy within the schools.
The incumbent is required to provide AV support for events, conventional classes, hybrid classes, smart technologies and actively assist with the administration of all AV projects.
Key
responsibilities
include
the
following:
- Provide conventional AV support
- Articulate the need for new AV equipment
- Asset management of AV equipment
- Perform first level maintenance of AV software and hardware
- Provide enduser training
- Provide reports to management
Minimum
academic
requirements
and
experience:
- Bachelor's degree (NQF 7)
- 3 years work related experience
Desirable requirements:
- Relevant audiovisual certifications e.g., Crestron, Kramer, Extron etc.
- Experience within a postgraduate environment
