    Our client is looking for a Workshop Technician to assist in ensuring the efficiency and productivity of their workshop

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the smooth running of the department with regard to its logistical needs.
    • Prompt assistance given to customers with complaints in appropriate way.
    • Ensure customers expectations are exceeded in respect to quality and service.
    • Respond immediately to requests for workshop breakdowns to customers.
    • Action customer services as per schedule.
    • Analyse the cause of the problem.
    • Arrange quotes for customers to authorise repairs.
    • Arrange and require spares to complete the job.
    • Maintain safety standards both at in-house and at customers.
    • Assist with stock counts.
    • Communicate daily with workshop supervisor for scheduled work and other assistance required. Submit salary info to workshop supervisor.
    • Manage clients and follow through with.
    • Ensure that all areas are organised and prepared.

    Key Skills:

    • Self-motivated.
    • Planning, organising & time management.
    • Pressure handling.
    • Driven and goal orientated.
    • 5 years plus working experience within a related field.
    • Experience within automotive industry would be an advantage.

    Qualifications:

    • Matric or equivalent NQF.
    • Must be a trade tested Millwright.
