Minimum requirements for the role:


  • A grade 12 is essential for this role.
  • A tertiary qualification in either food technology or bakery or a related qualification is preferred.
  • Previous experience having worked in a bakery environment is required for this role.
  • Previous sales experience having called on the retailers and independent bakery industry is essential for the role.
  • Must be fully computer literate in MS Office.
  • The company will consider a technical person who has good people skills, from the food manufacturing industry who has worked closely with a sales team and the companies clients for this role.
  • Responsible for sales growth and product support of the bakery specialties product portfolio into the retail and independent bakery industry.
  • Managing key accounts while building relationships with customers as well as trouble shooting on their range of products and processes.
  • Driving and achieving budget monthly sales volume and revenue.
  • Participating at tradeshows.
  • Reporting on market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities within the bakery market.
**Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
