Minimum requirements for the role:

A minimum of matric with ideally a science or related qualification is preferred but not essential.
Previous sales experience having sold industrial chemical raw materials within the chemical manufacturing and related industries is essential for the role.
Previous sales experience having called on customers within the metal / surface treatment and or beverage can manufacture industry is preferred.
Must have good communication skills, be presentable and be able to present to all levels of management.
Managing key accounts and to developing new product portfolios within the beverage can manufacturing and metal working fluids markets
Controlling stock and demand forecasts at customer sites and at consignment stores in conjunction with customers.
Technically assisting key account customers on the use of products as well as conducting line trials on customer sites etc.
Presenting reports to senior management.
Achieving monthly sales and profit targets to ensure budgeted price and profit levels are achieved and maintained.
Complying with defined environmental and quality procedures and identifying and communicating customer environmental and quality requirements and expectations in due time.
Maintaining customer data on sales force platform and updating gains and losses, opportunities and risk information frequently.
