Role purpose:


Your responsibilities will include:

Working closely with business stakeholders & analysts in design & development of software.
Review, maintenance, troubleshooting & optimization of current system software.
Presenting ideas for implementation options & system improvements, including effort estimates.
Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live & preparation of training material for users.
Implementing Fulfilment frameworks and solutions
Developing robust interactive Portals, Dashboards, and Reports for users
Coding and debugging
Build code and libraries
DevOps technical lead
Build and maintain relationships
Research new technologies


Technical / professional qualifications:

3 year Degree/Diploma BSc Comp. Science Honours or relevant Developer Qualifications
Professional certification beneficial.
3-5 years' experience in development (Java,.Net, Python, Oracle Apex or similar)
Good Development experience with RDBMS, NoSQL databases
Modern API creation and innovation
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of cloud computing architecture
Knowledge of collaboration tools such as Jenkins and Git.


Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

Technical knowledge of Java and web and mobile based (IOS and Android) development technologies and suites required.
Capable of articulating the business value of OSS investments/projects and collaborating with partners and cross-functional groups during implementation
Adeptness to engage as a consultative face of OSS to the Business and enable technology to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency
Skill to integrate new technologies with existing business initiatives and understanding the business processes and customer needs
Ability to make recommendations as they pertain to improvements in support/development initiatives and facilitate implementation with partners, OSS and cross-functional groups within the Business

Ability to work with multi-national teams, understand and respect cultural diversity and develop messages that help achieve objectives with diverse audiences.
