Maintenance Manager Injection Moulding Automotive ~ Manufacturing

Pretoria - Gauteng - South Africa

This position will be responsible for managing all mould tooling from onboarding new moulds, through to completing repairs and improvements to moulds in support of ongoing production.

Onboarding new moulds include the writing and execution of OQ/PQ process validation protocols and reports.

This position will assist in addressing customer feedback issues with moulded components, implementing process improvements on existing processes, and implementing cost improvement ideas.

Qualifications & Requirements:

4year degree in engineering (Mechanical, Materials Science, Plastics, etc.) or a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in automotive moulding
INJECTION MOULDING AUTOMOTIVE ROBOTIC EXPERIENCE
COMPULSORY
Five years or more management experience
Experience and understanding of decoupled injection moulding and structured process development
Demonstration of advanced knowledge in tooling design
Must have experience in tooling design, fabrication, development, testing, and validation
Understand design for manufacturability and have a track record of successfully implementing new tooling into production
Proficient in solid 3D modelling using SolidWorks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of attention to detail and meticulous recordkeeping capability
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities with little to no supervision
High level of initiative and flexibility in adapting to changing needs of a dynamic work environment
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
