M-KOPA South Africa is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join the Supply Chain Department.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Ready for Sale Process and providing support in the reverse logistics process.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Setting up M-KOPA Phones: Ensuring accurate and timely setup of PAYGO Phones according to the provided script.
  • Prepare Phones for Sale (RFS): Meeting the daily target of preparing 200 phones for sale.
  • Order processing: Handling order processing tasks.
  • Managing dispatches and stock records: Keeping track of current stock, stock in the channel, and total sales.
  • Customer service: Addressing basic customer queries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Device monitoring: Monitoring customers' devices using provided systems.
  • Improving customer experience: Identifying opportunities to enhance overall customer experience.
  • Reporting: Providing reports on assigned tasks and compiling accurate production data.
  • Workstation maintenance: Ensuring routine cleaning and general housekeeping of workstations.
  • Safety and compliance: Adhering to set safety standards, using personal protective equipment, and following health and environmental guidelines.
  • Additional duties: Participating in other reasonably assigned duties by management.
  • Asset Accountability: Taking responsibility for the company assets in your custody.

Skills Required:


  • Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, coaching, and people skills.
  • Planning and Organization: Strong ability to plan and organize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.

Education Required

  • Certificate or Diploma preferably in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
