purpose:

To provide expert advice and support in practice formulation and associated best practice improvements. Responsible for leading and developing a team of technical resources that provide operational project and technical support.

experience and qualifications:

IT related Degree or Diploma
5 years plus related technical experience
2 years plus experience managing complex technical specialist teams
additional requirements:
Understanding of hardware and infrastructure for software hosting both physical, virtual and cloud based
Understanding virtualization and vmware considerations and approaches in environmental designs
An understanding network topologies and concepts for consideration during environmental review and designs
Understanding of security concepts such as Access management and governance, Keys and key management and Encryption techniques
An understanding of Operating Systems in particular RHEL
Knowledge of varying file systems both clustered and local
Performance monitoring and optimization of IO and computing resources
Knowledge of cloud concepts and architectural background
Understand automation concepts and principles (Control M)
