Job Overview:


The main purpose of the role is to identify and assess the various training needs across the department, design and facilitate various training interventions as well as creating the learning and development content to support these interventions.

A secondary focus of the role entails quality reviewing the servicing outputs of the LISP and driving interventions toward meeting the desired quality standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Design and deliver training solutions, content and learning modules aligned to the achievement of business objectives
  • Design, implement and maintain a quality assessment framework suited to various operational teams
  • Identify knowledge and skill gaps in the environment based on inputs from leaders, error, and rework data as well as quality assessments
  • Design and implement various training interventions to address knowledge and skill gaps
  • Ensure that learning content is accurate, up to date and aligned with the latest processes, systems, and legislative requirements
  • Partner with leaders in coaching and development conversations
  • Formulate monthly quality and knowledge assessments
  • Document all business processes and changes and ensure alignment with regulatory compliance and service quality requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders through consultation, understanding their requirements and accommodating their training and development needs
  • Conduct training and induction of new staff members
  • Conduct inperson training workshops and individual training sessions
  • Compile monthly feedback reports for team leaders and managers
  • Provide input and guidance on any business process changes and improvements
  • Foster a culture focused on quality, learning and continuous development

Requirements:


  • Relevant business qualification and/or certification
  • 25 years' relevant Financial Services industry experience with a focus on training, quality assessment and/or learning and development
  • Knowledge of Pension Fund Act, FAIS, FIC Act, Long Term Insurance Act, CISCA, FATCA/CRS
  • MS Office proficiency, particularly, MS Excel and PowerPoint
