Key Purpose of the role

  • Reinvent an industry with the power of Discovery and our shared value model at your disposal. This role will support the effort to shake up the employee benefits industry, both in umbrella funds and group risk.
We are looking for an individual of outstanding calibre to work with a team that's focused on innovation.

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

  • Ensure new products being implemented on the day of the Discovery Launch
  • Develop expertise and offer insight relating to Discovery shared value model
  • Develop and model pricing for umbrella fund and group risk products
  • Ensure products and benefits are functioning at an optimal level
  • Define data intelligence requirements, utilization objectives

Education and Experience

  • Fully or Partially Qualified Actuary with Employee benefits or Risk Product Development experience
  • 24 Years Experience in actuarial modelling, profit testing, problem solving, data analysis, mathematical and statistical reasoning
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Track record of strong communication skills (written, presentations, negotiations)
  • Experience in the Group Risk or Employee Benefits industry
