- Key Purpose

Fund administrator is a critical operational role that has the responsibility of processing trades and settlements into the Discovery Manco Unit trust funds as well as any offshore fund offered by Discovery.

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

  • Daily operational bank reconciliation verifying that all money flowed as expected
  • Sourcing of all trades via Finswitch, Internal systems as well as manual channels
  • Processing of all client trades into fund trades
  • Instructing various external fund managers
  • Reconcile actions taken by external fund managers
  • Instructing various payments to settle fund trades as well as client redemptions
  • Full unit reconciliations on each fund that is offered
  • Handle all client queries as well as external fund manager queries
  • Regular reporting to stakeholders including clients, auditors, institutions

  • BCom Degree or 3 years' experience in an investment administration environment
  • 1 years of experience in an investment administration environment
