My client in the electrical engineering sector is looking for a highly motivated and experienced External Sales Representative to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales growth by acquiring new clients through successful cold calling efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cold calling, excellent communication skills and a strong ability to sell the company''s services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct cold calls to prospect and qualify potential clients in the electrical industry.
2. Build and maintain a pipeline of leads through proactive outreach and networking efforts.
3. Present the company''s services to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and value propositions.
4. Identify client needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.
5. Negotiate terms and close sales deals.
6. Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond.
7. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions and sales opportunities.
8. Collaborate with team to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in cold calling and sales, preferably in the electrical industry.
2. Fluent in both English and Afrikaans, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify leads, and close sales deals effectively.
4. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on achieving results.
5. Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for sales and exceeding goals.
6. Own car and valid driver''s license for travel to client meetings and sales visits.
7. Own cell phone for communication with clients and colleagues.
8. Computer literate.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
