What's the role?

You will be responsible for:


  • Developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
  • Building and managing a highperforming sales team, including setting goals, providing training and coaching, and evaluating performance.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Collaborating with marketing, product, and other teams to develop effective gotomarket strategies and product positioning.
  • Forecasting sales and creating regular reports to provide insights into the performance of the sales team and the overall business.
  • Staying uptodate with industry trends and competitive activity, and adapting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals with new and existing customers.
  • Setting and managing the sales budget and ensuring that expenses are controlled and within budget.

  • Matric
  • Sales experience leading a team, in SAAS space advantageous
  • Must have experience with
  • B2B sales, preferably in the FinTech space, having sold to csuite SA
  • Experience building and managing a team
  • Financial /fintec background if possible
