Scope

This position is targeted at students studying an
Electrical Engineering Course at a Technikon or equivalent and is required to complete a Work Integrated Learning component as part of their Portfolio of Evidence/Outcomes in order to qualify for their National Diploma.

Key Responsibilities
Assisting the Field Engineer with their duties, while simultaneously achieving outcomes for the Portfolio of Evidence.

Key Requirements
Matric Certificate

N6 Engineering Certificate or Equivalent

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering in Progress

Own Transport

Key Tasks

Works with project and operations teams to monitor and manage electronic/meter equipment;
Consults with customer or direct manager to plan the deployment of meter and TID rollover field audits;
Processing of field audits results and draw up reports;
Uses Microsoft mapping tools to build mitigation maps;
Provide telephone and onsite support services to the customers and project teams.
