Service Technician (Johannesburg North)

The opportunity that awaits you:A fast-paced, well-established engineering company is looking for a young and enthusiastic Service Technician to join their team. This Service Technician will work hands-on to assemble, install and maintain the company's equipment and grow their skills in multiple disciplines.


Your key responsibilities:


The Service Technician will be responsible for routine maintenance of various systems, whether it be preventative, corrective, or emergency maintenance.

They will also provide support to client operators and maintenance staff when necessary and conduct service reporting and data acquisition.

Furthermore, the technician will oversee and perform instrument calibrations, testing and the scheduling and transfer of site consumables.

The technician should be well skilled in Mechanical and Electrical fabrication and assembly and will assist with workshop functions and Factory acceptance testing.

Additionally, the Service Technician will conduct site assessments for installation planning and work on remote sites while installing the various systems.


Our required expertise:


  • Millwright, Electrical or Instrumentation certificate or diploma
  • 24 years' experience in industrial installation or maintenance environment
  • Instrumentation and PLC experience
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required.
