Automation Control Solutions is a market leader in Southern Africa in the field of Process Control Instrumentation providing world-renowned products, specialised training, after sales service and technical support.

Automation Control Solutions represents Emerson Automation Solutions, in Southern and Eastern Africa

Responsible for the Machinery Health Management Product Sales and Cross Divisional Products and Solutions within Automation and Control Solutions. This function is responsible for the creation and maintenance of sustainable customer relationships. The scope of this role entails Machinery health software, Machine works software, Portable data collectors, Online prediction, protection systems and support services


Minimum Requirements:


ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 1
  • N3 preferably with Process Instrumentation, where N3 is a minimum requirement.
  • CAT II ISO Certified Certificate
  • Industrial Trade Test (advantageous)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Sales experience required
  • Three years industry experience in reliablity
  • Machinery Health Manager product knowledge's
  • Vibration Sensors' knowledge
  • Drivers Licence Required

Duties and Responsibilities:


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Pursue new customers
  • Support current customer base
  • Face to face consultative selling
  • Monthly sales forecast report for daytoday sales
  • Execute defined sales strategies to win and meet sales budget
  • Consult with internal support structures for engineering solutions to assist customers
  • Gather data required for sizing and selection, refer to sales support and internal resources for solutions
  • Present product presentations and demonstrations
  • Follow up on quoted opportunities
  • Provide win / loss reasons in customer relationship management system
  • Administer sales quotes register
  • Provide effective aftersales service to customers
  • Create and maintain relationships with new stakeholders
  • Gather customer information to identify new opportunities
