Job Purpose
To Manage, design and monitor all IT related activities for Mirren through delivery of network infrastructure, data administration and IT support coordination to ensure proper flow of streamlined operation of the IT group in alignment with and delivery of organisational business objectives

Major Activities / Tasks

Management
Responsible for ensuring that the IT infrastructure is operational and running at an optimal level
Involved in feasibility/new projects relating to Digital
Reporting on performance for management purposes
Continually assess the needs of the company and its users to determine how best to leverage the IT systems to benefit the business
Disaster Recovery Management (backups, failsafe plans)
Ad hoc regards to all department (i.e assist with finance, admin, engineering, production, stores, stock and quality systems
Manage budgets and expenditure of relevant IT cost areas.

Operations.

Maintain all site IT infrastructure and software systems. Ii.e PABX, Biometric, time and attendance systems and assist with OT systems.
Assist with Networking (Rollouts, Layouts, Accessibility and fault trouble shooting)
Support Desktops and laptops setting of new equipment and users (including operational software and support)
Peripheral support assessment, purchase and development of all IT related equipment (eg Multifunction machines, printers, projectors, cameras etc)
Ensure the timely implementation of IT projects.
Manage vendors and service providers.
Manage the site hardware inventory end to end.
Support SAP processes at the plant level.
Collaboration
Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and act and an enabler for business.
Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for delivering new and improving existing solutions to meet business requirements.
Providing support and guidance to site management in communicating IT policies and procedures to team members and addressing ITrelated issues or concerns.
Support & Change Management
Ensuring solutions implemented are adopted within the site
Providing support and training on solutions implemented
Being an IT change leader within the site

Skills & Knowledge

Educational qualifications:

Diploma / Degree in a relevant discipline or other equivalent tertiary qualification.

One or more IT certifications, ie CompTIA network+, Microsoft Certifications, ITIL.

Relevant experience:

10 Years IT Experience In a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or similar.

Experience with manufacturing systems and good manufacturing practices

Experience with project management and project management methodologies

Skills Requirement:

Ability to work as a team and independently.

Strong collaboration skills

Ability to communicate at all levels.

Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritis
