Based in the city of Cape Town, our private client develops, owns, and manages their portfolio in-house. They pride themselves on the variety of their properties ranging from residential to, commercial, industrial, and retail.

Having recently moved to a state-of-the-art office, they are looking for a Senior Commercial Portfolio Manager to join their close and lean team, which is family office rooted in a team-work culture.

Although, this is an office-based role, you will find yourself traveling between properties and meeting tenants on a weekly basis.

Representing the company, you will be working with large blue-chip/national tenants as well as small but long standing "moms and pop".

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure tenant satisfaction as well as managing recoveries and arears, liaising with brokers, sourcing tenants, and managing 3 supporting staff members.

To be considered for this role you will need a minimum of 5 years' commercial property management experience, a property related tertiary qualification and 3 years of experience using MDA.

Strong negotiation skills, excellent tenant management skills, the ability to work in a team with a "can do" attitude and extensive leasing skills are imperative to succeed in this role.
