Our client, a leading South African Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) develops, owns and manages large portfolios of commercial, industrial and retail assets both locally and into Africa.

They are currently looking for a proactive and meticulous Operations Duty Manager to join their team at their flagship Retail Centre in Johannesburg, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Taking responsibility for assisting and supporting the Operations Manager with the day-to-day management and all the required functions within the operational scope of duties.

The required working hours are 16h00 - 00h00 during the week, and a minimum of 2 weekends per month.

Duties will include management of all operational functions within the building, this includes but is not limited to technical equipment and services, soft services, building projects, maintenance, utilities, policies and procedures, risk management and compliance in accordance with relevant standards and legislation.

As the Operations Duty Manager, you will have at least 3 years' experience in a facilities management role, within the property sector.

Ideally you will hold a related property management or facilities management qualification.
