JOB SUMMARY

Our client is looking to secure the permanent services of a Retail Store Manager to be based in Cape Town, South Africa.

The Retail Store manager will be responsible for managing 5 staff and a small production area.


THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for this role, you have the following skills and experience, but not limited to:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years Retail shop Management experience
  • Experience working in the maritime (commercial or pleasure) industry would prove advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Grow the business interest through good relationships with key customers
  • Capture all daily sales on retail system
  • Responsible for a detailed monthly stocktake
  • Complete quotations for sales enquiries
  • Assist walkin customers
  • Maintain proper inventory levels
  • Manage all controllable costs
