JOB SUMMARY

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for this role, you have the following skills and experience, but not limited to:

  • Diploma or any similar production or operational qualification essential
  • 6+ years working experience within a manufacturing/production environment
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Production Management:


  • Manage all resources and ensure that the factory maintains production of finished products at the required quality and efficiency level
  • Ensure daily targets are met and machines are running optimally
  • Ensure and maintain a full start up and end of shift inspection, for incomplete processes, unsafe situations and maintaining of equipment and machinery is in order
  • Generate daily production report

Process Management:


  • Manage all processes and procedures to ensure they are correctly followed by the full production team at all times
  • Investigate nonconformances, conduct root cause analysis and implement necessary corrective actions and preventative actions

Staff Management:


  • Ensure that all staff members are trained and kept up to date with all relevant production requirements, procedures and regulations that need to be adhered to
  • Manage daily attendance and time keeping of all production staff in conjunction with the HR Department

Stock Management:


  • Manage your resources to ensure you always focus on setting up your production daily in a manner that will ensure the best output
  • Ensure forecasting is done and maintained at acceptable levels for all stock holding items

Production Maintenance:


  • Work with maintenance to ensure that the production maintenance is maintained

Health and Safety:


  • Ensure that the production areas are compliant with the OHS Act and that all areas are safe working spaces.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE
A market-related remuneration package is on offer for this role.
