Hillcrest, KZN. Minimum 8 years experience in the Supermarket industry secures Store Manager position with well-known fresh foods retailer.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage store targets and profitability
  • Responsible for point of sale and pricing
  • Report on daily, weekly, and monthly GP's
  • Manage all hygiene and safety activities of the Butchery
  • Ensure that correct chemicals and procedures are used to maintain a sanitised and pest free environment
  • Stock control and inventory management
  • General administration
  • Procurement of stock and other products
  • Sales and marketing development
  • People management and the ability to lead personnel
  • Developing strong customer relations
  • Maintaining shrinkage and wastage within required levels

Requirements:


  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Retail industry
  • Retail qualification would be an advantage
  • Point of Sale Systems knowledge is desirable
  • Computer literate
  • Management and supervisory skills
  • Must have own transport
