ROLE DESCRIPTION:


To ensure the effective implementation of the client's events, setting up, taking down, upkeep and control of event POS, ensuring timeous achievement of said events, as well as the effective compilation and distribution of required key information through your line manager to both client and managers.

You would be expected to manage and lead the events under your control. You are required to build a competent team that will consistently achieve principal expectation.

You will achieve this by ensuring that the execution in the field is done timeously and to customer specifications so that we consistently secure service level advantage over our competitors.

You would need to train and motivate your team so that individuals are confidently able to achieve service level objectives to company standards.

You need to deliver the highest levels of cleanliness and professionalism in the warehouse by maintaining all company warehouse processes and procedures.

Ensure that the Operational footprint is implemented correctly.


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:


  • Deliver on the following core criteria:
  • Principal Service Level Agreements
  • Condition of Trade & Trade Feedback
  • Company Processes and Procedures

KEY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:


Administration Management:


  • Check documents for thoroughness and completeness before sending to your line manager.
  • Effective staff management, motivation & training
  • Ensure that accurate and complete reporting and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are properly maintained.
  • Maintenance of engineering certificates of all POS and any other required Health and Safety documents.
  • Timeous and Accurate compilation, administration and distribution of all key required information

Event Management:


  • Attend site visits to new venues and/or large events with the client, if required.
  • Brand visibility without putting the brand in disrepute.
  • Effective executions of event set up and break down according to client standards.
  • Ensure that all required equipment is available for upcoming events.
  • Report on event activities.
  • Take photos of the event set up, break down and during the event if required to stay at the event for the duration of the event.

POS Management:


  • Ensure that all events POS is taking care of and handled with care while in our possession.
  • Inform management of POS condition and any POS shortage issues.
  • Manage the general maintenance of event POS.

Vehicle Management:


  • Complete weekly vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure that all services are carried out as per service book.
  • Ensure that company vehicles are maintained as per company standard.

Warehouse Management:


  • Assist in ensuring that all Health and Safety objectives are adhered to as set out by the company.
  • Manage general housekeeping.
  • Reporting to the management of any warehouse related security and/or safety issues.
  • Assist in ensuring that all Health and Safety objectives are adhered to as set out by the company.

Client Management:


  • Build relations with customers and principals
  • Ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ensure professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Ensure that the client's objectives are met.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Matric certificate
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Code 10 drivers licenc
