Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to plan, organise and manage project scope and phases within the core parameters of the project mandate.

Role and its core responsibilities:

Own and implement the Barrows project management principles as outlined by the project management strategy and vision.
Define and manage Project Scope
Develop project plans, including schedule and budget
Organise and allocate business resources across the teams as required by the project
Communicate and provide reporting across both team and stakeholder levels on Project timings, milestones and deliverables
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project, analyse result and troubleshoot problem areas.
Identify and manage project dependencies, risks and issues
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
Develop an environment of contineous improvement through best practices, templates policies, tools and partnerships and mature these capabilities for the organisation.
Adhoc
Any other reasonable request from management including particular projects as and when needed.

Minimum requirements/experience & Skills:

2+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
2+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
Experience in FMCG/Retail advertising and/or marketing preferable
Experience in end to end delivery of small, medium & large scoped projects
Experience in the implementation of project management methodologies
High level of proficiency Microsoft office and Google suite: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Project management software skills would be beneficial
Experience working with business stakeholders within a crossfunctional matrix environment
Ability to present to business stakeholders and demonstrated communication skills; both
Written and oral with technical and nontechnical staff, all levels of management
Strong planning and organisation skills
Attention to detail
Ability to build relationships through communication and collaboration.
