Description
A leading Site Services & Construction firm in Cape Town is recruiting for a seasoned and dedicated
invoicing clerk.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the creation of high-volume accurate client invoices and prompt correct sending or uploading of invoices to clients, as well as resolution of client invoice queries.


Responsibilities:

Compile client invoices on the in-house financial system (Acumatica) in accordance with quotations and specified rates.

Calculate charges and additional charges, such as after-hour call out fees.

Ensure accuracy of invoices and adherence to company standards, requirements and policies.

Ensure invoices are promptly sent or uploaded on various client portals.

Resolve billing errors which other staff or customers flag.

Keep a record of collected payments and customer information.

Work effectively with other members of the financial team.

Perform any necessary administrative duties, such as auditing customer records.

Prepare account statements for clients.

Send reminders and follow up on outstanding payments.

Daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Ad-hoc job-related tasks and assignments.


Requirements:

High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification is required.

A minimum of - 8 years' experience as an invoicing clerk or similar role.

Proficient in MS Office with proven experience in data entry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to communicate at all levels.

Time and deadline driven.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.


Remuneration:

Market related based on experience and ability.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:00


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R7 000,00 - R11 000,00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cape Town,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
