CARPENTER


An established Site Services and Maintenance firm in Cape Town is looking for the services of an excellent, hardworking, appropriately qualified and skilled Carpenter.

Applicants must have a good track record and minimum 5 years' relevant experience.

Experience of creating and installing built-in-cupboards (BIC) is essential.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Matric/N
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 5 years' handson carpentry experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Time Management and deadline driven.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Visit residential and commercial properties to inspect and conduct repairs or maintenance.
  • Comply with all safety regulations as stipulated in the occupational health and safety act.
  • Read & interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches.
  • Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
  • Cut, shape, finishoff and fit lumber and other material according to measurements.
  • Fit and hang doors.
  • Install ceilings. (timber & rhino board).
  • Wooden floors.
  • Dry walling.

:


  • General carpentry maintenance and repairs.
  • Drawup material lists.
  • Fill out job cards.

Pay:
R9 500,00 - R13 000,00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cape Town,

Western Cape:
