Description
Our company is seeking a motivated Sales Coordinator to join our team in the Promotional and Retail Products Industry.As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our sales team by managing and coordinating sales activities, preparing quotes, and ensuring the timely delivery of orders.
You will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with our customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to existing and potential customers by responding to inquiries, providing quotes, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Prepare and process sales orders, manage the sales process from start to finish, and liaise with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders
- Maintain accurate and uptodate customer records and sales data in our CRM system
- Work with suppliers to source products, obtain pricing and product information, and place orders
- Coordinate with production, shipping, and accounting departments to ensure timely delivery and payment, and monitor inventory levels
- Liaise with the Design Department for approvals and artwork
- Oversee client accounts, deal with customer enquiries, and provide assistance, information, and options as needed
- Followup on product completion and liaise with clients to obtain approval within relevant timeframes
- Continuously liaise with relevant teams/stakeholders to ensure project timelines are on track and client orders meet their deadlines
- Ensure that relevant information is loaded onto the accounting system as soon as the order comes in
- Maintain a progress spreadsheet (order progression)
- Perform general office administration tasks such as copying, scanning, and filing.
Requirements essential to this position:
- Grade 1
- Minimum 35 years' experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills in a target driven environment and ability to liaise on all levels.
- Computer literacy
- Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint (Basic) Internet Explorer (Ability to use search engines and be internet savvy).
- Basic financial acumen and analytical behaviour.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills and ability to multitask.
- Attention to detail and accuracy and must be methodical.
- Ability to take initiative and work unsupervised.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure and ability to work overtime when operationally required.
- Proficiency in English written and spoken.
- Good team player.
- Proactive, forwardthinking person with an enquiring mind.
- Must be comfortable working in a paperless environment.
