Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Minimum 6 years relevant experience will be required
Experience with forecasting software (DMP Software) is important
Must have strong Excel skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Preparing accurate demand forecasts for all products with an 18month horizon.
Maintaining demand planning master data, systems and software.
Monitoring relevant data and analysing trends.
Monitoring the forecast accuracy in coordination with sales.
Constantly sourcing solutions and tools to improve the accuracy of planning with sales, supply chain, and operations.
Translating product forecast into required raw materials, including developing the Rough Cut Capacity Plan.
Collecting data and information from sales (and marketing) about seasonal effects, sales plans, promotions, market trends and distribution changes, tenders, product introductions, and product terminations to combine all relevant information into the forecast.
Identifying variances based upon historical production performance and expected future activities of products and planning inventory needs for future demand.
Identifying relevant marketrelated data and competitive intelligence that is relevant for the demand forecasting process.
Preparing relevant material to facilitate discussion and managing the monthly Demand and Supply meetings, in which the input from sales and marketing is discussed beforehand.
Achieving consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales and marketing.
Informing stakeholders when stock levels, outbound deliveries, and/or customer service are at risk.
Ensuring continuous improvement of the forecasting process.
