OVERVIEW

The Graphic / Multimedia Designer will provide comprehensive graphic design and video production to communicate topics related to hospitality equipment.


  • Work times
Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm

Saturday 8am to 2:30pm_

Must be able to travel to work everyday and be on time.

We are based in Overport, Durban and are looking to hire someone with the skills and talents as described below as soon as possible.

DUTIES

  • Design editorial, technical, and/or promotional publications and products from concept to production
  • Trim and clip recorded video and/or audio footage for upload to websites and streaming services, or for use in multimedia projects
  • Design and develop assets and content for websites and web products
  • Create, convert, and/or optimize various media file types for specific delivery environments
  • Assist in the design and development of multimedia, web, and graphic design elements for use in marketing collateral and on social media
  • Design storyboards, learning interfaces, slide compositions, and graphics
  • Create vectorscalable graphics that enhance the user experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Beneficial)
  • 1+ year of relevant experience
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Animate, Premier Pro, and After Effects or similar software
  • Experience developing presentations with a variety of tools including PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to be a creative selfstarter who works well both independently and in a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience translating data and scientific information into infographics
  • Knowledge of best practices in design for social media
  • Experience providing both technical/production and conceptual/content skills
  • Able to work on a range of video projects, including animations, promotional videos, videos for social media, and quickturnaround edits to existing videos
  • Ability to shoot on and edit content from mobile devices

Salary:
From R5,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Overport, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Graphic Design: 1 year (required)

  • Video editing: 1 year (required)
