    AIM OF THE JOB
    The Company is looking for an assertive, self-driven individual to fill this vacancy, to ensure that
    tender and project scheduling is

    done according to the
    planned timeline and the related scope of work are updated on a regular basis to reflect an up-to-date status.


    MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS


    • Sales and Marketing assist with building
      tender programs

    which aligns with the scope of work and forecasted

    timelines that the sales and marketing team dictates.

    • Develop
      detailed project baseline and fully understand

    scope of work before detailed schedule is drawn up.

    • Provide
      two weekly forecasts to project teams on all
    aspects.

    • Engage with
      project team members and ensure that teams

    adhere to delivery dates. Identify shortcomings and advice
    on action plants on cost-reduction.

    • Provide
      detailed management reports to ensure full view of
    the project.


    • Provide reports highlighting deviations on the
      project plans
    to avoid delays and budget overruns. Follow critical path of


    • Active participation in meetings and forums. Accurate
    reporting.


    • Communicate and practice the principles of Customer

    Service, internally and externally.


    • Tertiary qualification and/or training relevant to the position.

    • 8 + Years Project Planning experience.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with team that include but
    are not limited to management, co-workers, clients,
    vendors and subcontractors.

    • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the
    project.

    • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and
    time-effective manner.

    • Computer literate in the MS Office Suite as well as MS
    Projects.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Planning and organizing skills.
    • Assertive and self-driven.
    • Operational understanding of
      Primavera would be an

    advantage.
