Requirements:

A relevant BTech or first degree in the built environment discipline
Eight (8) years' or more relevant managerial experience with

highly diverse property development projects and programmes in

the property development value chain

Proven experience in the successful delivery of property

development projects

Ability to operate independently within the functional area without

reference to decisions to a superior

Accountable for all decisions and recommendations via Director

to Council

Use full discretion with methods, systems, processes and

information to initiate, execute and review policies and projects

Operate with full mandate to commit on behalf of the department

and Council

A valid driver's licence.

Key Performance Areas

Manage and implement the short

- to medium-term property

development value chain through all pre
- and post-development

stages of extraction of substantial socio-economic value from a

select portfolio of property assets

Stakeholder communication and management, including

representing the City at negotiations, coordinating forums, liaising

with the City's legal department on legal issues

Manage and execute project research, planning, resources,

change management and delivery

Accountable for the management of information and knowledge

for the branch.
