Description

Job Description:

To provide an efficient inspection service to the manufacturing department through the completion and
reporting of timeous, accurate quality checks as per the documented frequencies.

To assist with the maintenance of a high level productivity through the implementation of an improving culture and ethic.
Accurately measure quality parameters and compare against standard specifications
Timeous report any out of control situations to the relevant operators
Raw material inspection
Sampling and sorting as per laid down plan and when required
Assist with trial as required
Print and communicate out of control information to production
File reports
Mix chemicals
Assist with maintenance of test equipment
Quality inspection on Production lines as per frequency
Assist with sorting out customers when required


Job Requirements:

Grade 12, Mathematics and Physical Science

Good numeracy with ability to understand statistical process control concepts
Must have knowledge of quality checks
Be moderately competent in MS Office (Excel & Word)
Must have quality and safety experience
Have an eye for detail and work to close tolerances
Have a valid driver's licence
Have a willingness to undergo further QA training
