RPO Recruitment's client, a leading industrial company based in Durban, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to join their team.

As a Production Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the production department, ensuring the efficient and timely production of goods.

You will be responsible for managing a team of production staff, monitoring production processes, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and quality.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and optimize resource utilization.

You will also be responsible for identifying areas for process improvement, implementing cost-saving measures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in an industrial setting
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving production targets
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office and production management software
Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required
