RPO Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Merchandise Planner to join a reputable retail company.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing the merchandise assortment to maximize sales and profitability.

You will work closely with the buying and marketing teams to ensure that the right products are ordered and promoted effectively to drive customer demand.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement merchandise plans, considering sales, margin, and inventory turnover targets.
Analyze market trends, customer demand, and sales data to make informed buying decisions.
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and adjust order quantities to maintain optimal stock levels.
Closely track sales performance and make recommendations for pricing, promotions, and markdowns.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a merchandise planner in the retail industry.
