Minimum Requirements:


  • 1 2 years of experience in payroll administration

Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of labour legislation (Intermediate)
  • Knowledge of PAYE (Intermediate)
  • Knowledge of hospitality sectoral determination and main agreements (Basic)
  • Knowledge of tax legislation and remuneration best practice (Basic)
  • Knowledge of payroll system (Intermediate)
  • Numeracy and literacy skills (Advanced)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Oral and written communication skills (Advanced)
  • Microsoft Office skills (Intermediate)

Duties and Responsibilities:


PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION

  • Prepare and process payroll input for the casas (restaurants) within the allocated region
  • Review HR changes, engagements and terminations and process payslips
  • Review all new Nandoca (employee) files
  • Make sure all necessary documents are attached to Nandoca records (UIF document, U12.7 forms, U19 forms etc.)
  • Administer acting allowances
  • Ensure final payments of settlement agreements paid to Nandocas are paid out on time
  • Attend to all admin payroll queries
  • Action and complete the weekly EFT payment process
  • Process all maternityrelated matters and ensure all UIF (labour related) documentation is complete
  • Collaborate with and provide support to the People department when required
  • Receive and review T&A reports from T&A administrator

REPORTS

  • Create, investigate and action active head count reports daily
