The HRBP will provide coaching, guidance, and support on HR related matters to the Supervisory level and below within Feitoria.

The role will provide HR support on the full life cycle of a Nandoca, ensure HR compliance and assist the Head of People with initiatives to embed a positive culture within the company.

The role will be responsible for the implementation of all facets of Human Resources which includes but not limited to:
Talent Management, Performance Management, Recruitment, Organizational Design and development, Recruitment and Onboarding, Compliance, Engagement, and Industrial/Employee relations.


Minimum Requirements:


  • 5 years HR generalist experience
  • 5 years experience of Employee Relations
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Duties and Responsibilities:


Contribute to & Execute HR Strategy: Contribute to the execution of the business plan through the implementation of the people strategies that attract, develop and retain Nandocas.


HR Business Partnering

  • Drive flawless execution of local HR Initiatives.
  • Coach and direct line managers on HR policies, processes and practices.
  • Coordinate and execute workforce planning. Provide timely recommendations to supervisory level.
  • Organisational Design & Development (OD&D): Proactively challenge the established organisational structure of the customer unit to drive superior performance.
  • Ensure people issues are a key consideration when discussing and planning business activities.
  • Manage effective organisational transformation and change projects using best practice methodologies.
  • Shape the culture to align with Nando's goals & initiatives through supporting & coaching Line managers in their implementation of core people processes.
  • Work with leaders to enhance current and future functional and leadership capability needs.

Culture Management

  • Foster and nurture a positive, inclusive, and highperformance organisational culture.
  • Design and execute Nandoca engagement initiatives and programs, guiding Nandocas in action planning and providing feedback on progress.
  • Continuously monitor employee satisfaction and address concerns proactively.
  • Build supporting tools/resources to drive the Talent Management Process.

Talent Acquisition and Management

  • Support the onboarding of new Nandocas to ensure the best experience.
  • Facilitate talent management activities such as succession planning; identifying high potential Nandocas and develop a diverse talent pipeline that meets the short and longterm goals of the factory.
  • Understand the specific Line Manager requirements per vacancy.
  • Review recruitment requests for compliance and report any nonconformance.
  • Advertise all open roles either, internally and/or externally, in accordance with available profiles.
  • Conduct all relevant reference and verification checks.

Employee Relations

  • Investigate and resolve any Whistle Blower complaints as well as any formally raised grievances.
  • Guide and facilitate the performance Management process together with line managers.
  • Guide, prepare for, and manage the drafting, issuing, scheduling and preparation of disciplinary hearings, attending CCMA as required.
  • Guide managers with handling misconduct and performance issues
  • Guide and support management to ensure that any mistreatment of Nandocas is addressed.
  • Consult, guide and cofacilitate discussions on any changes to Nandoca terms and conditions.

HR Reporting

  • In collaboration with HR Administrator, track HR movements and monitor changes
  • Input data points into a HR scorecard to monitor trends.
  • Analyse the data and assist management in making informed and sound people decisions based on HR analytics.

Project Management

  • Lead HRrelated projects, such as system implementations, policy changes, or diversity initiatives.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet goals.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all departments within the company's departments.
  • Create and present KPI reports.
  • Ensuring that the OD process is carried out effectively. Responsible for Job description creation and working with the provider to accurately grade roles

Compliance

  • Responsible for Employment equity tracking, reporting and submission
  • Responsible for WSP coordination and submission
  • Ensure policy review and creation in accordance with employment equity requirements and overall company values
