The
Strategic Fuel Fund Association (SFF), a subsidiary of the
Central Energy Fund (CEF), manages crude oil storage facilities in the Western Cape, and environmental protection against oil pollution.

SFF currently seek to employ an
IT MANAGER (24-month contract) at Parow, Cape Town.


Responsibilities

  • Implementation of an IT steerco
  • Implementation of an IT strategy and IT governance framework
  • Establish and implementation of IT policies and procedures
  • Reporting on a quarterly basis
  • Management of overall IT budget
  • Ensuring the IT environment is robust and running effectively
  • Implementation of disaster recovery procedures and data backup systems
  • Management of the IT infrastructure, servers and IT equipment management and verification
  • Resolve and address audit queries raised
  • Oversight and management of subordinates (IT officer, Network Specialist & interns)

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Systems and Technology (bachelor's degree or higher)
  • 5 to 8 years' experience in a corporate information system and technology environment in a managerial role having dealt with IT governance structures.
