The Strategic Fuel Fund Association (SFF), a subsidiary of the Central Energy Fund (CEF), manages crude oil storage facilities in the Western Cape, and environmental protection against oil pollution.

SFF currently seek to employ a CONTROL SECURITY OFFICER at MILNERTON, Cape Town.


Responsibilities

  • Manning the security control room
  • Comply with National Key Point Act 102 of 1980 & OHSAct 85 of 1993 requirements.
  • Enforcing NKP regulations
  • Enforcing and adherence to the Terminal Health and Safety requirements and OHAS Act. Act 85 of 199
  • Enforcing and adherence to SFF security policies & procedures
  • Respond to any Fire Alarm and assist with Fire Fighting
  • Respond to Security breach
  • Report writing.
  • Ensure Control room is secured
  • Be able to work shifts
  • Compile security daily reports
  • Compile training Plan
  • Compile security breach reports if any
  • Report and compile Safety and Security incidents reports
  • Report on any Security irregularity

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 1
  • Registration with PSIRA Grade A;
  • NKP Training
  • 5 Years Security experience within the petrochemical environment
  • 5 years' Security experience in an NKP
  • Fire Arm Training, Handgun and Shotgun Competency Certificates;
  • Experience of Control room operations
  • Advance Petrochemical Fire Fighting;
  • Basic Computer skills;
  • Hazmat Awareness;


  • First Aid Level

  • Driver's License code
  • Medically Fit
- knowledge of Security protocols policies, and procedures
