CSV is currently seeking to add an experienced
Construction Planner to its team of professionals.


Construction Planner - 9 Month Fixed Term Contract (Atlantis)

Job Summary:


The Construction Planner plays an integral role in leading the development of project programmes and schedules, forecasting resources required, identifying and proposing solutions to potential risks and delays.

The Construction Planner will timeously manage project schedules and measure and monitor progress in relation to these schedules.


The Construction Planner would need to be based on a Site in Atlantis.

Duties/Responsibilities:_

  • Provide strategic planning and schedules to ensure works are completed timeously
  • Coordinate the schedule using information from multiple Site and Client representatives, communicating effectively with all parties
  • Evaluate critical paths in the project schedule, evaluating alternative options to identify optimum project strategies and to identify any potential risks before and during project implementation
  • Identify and report on any deviations from the plan
  • Prepare project reports and presentations as required for the client
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:_

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Indepth knowledge of construction industry and processes
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills

Education and Experience:_

  • At least 10 years' experience as a Construction Planner
  • Project Planning, Project Management Qualification
  • Extensive working experience on MsProjects
  • Must have experience working on NEC3 Contracts

Additional Requirements:_

  • Must have a clear criminal record (Client Requirement)
  • Must have a valid drivers licence and own reliable transport
  • Must be medically fit and able to work on a Construction Site
  • Please note that all placements will be made in accordance to the Company Employment Equity Policies and Practices._
