Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Systems Analyst to join our team based in our Cape Town office.

This is a very independent role and requires the individual to be self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable in a faced-paced environment.

The projects are broad, and you will work closely with business stakeholders, product, and technical teams.

The ability to create strong working relationships with diverse groups of individuals will be paramount to success in the role.

Responsibilities:

Working as part of the groupwide delivery function, reporting directly to the heads of delivery (with an initial focus on the digital area)
Identifying business stakeholders, building strong working relationships and earning their trust
Collaborating with project (initiative) sponsors to determine initial scope and vision
Collaborating with the product and technical teams in order to bridge gap between their areas and articulate technical solutions in a digestible form that the business stakeholders can consume
Collaborating with the delivery squads to assist with design queries that may arise during the build sprint cycles, helping them to achieve customer signoff
Gathering, understanding, and translating business requirements from initiatives, and breaking them down into detailed epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and training strategies where required.
Providing stakeholders with accurate and measurable estimates for business analysis deliverables
Developing a broad understanding of Rank Group products and a deeper knowledge across an agreed subset in order to act as a Subject Matter Expert
Working in an organisation that is moving toward a scaled agile methodology, seeking out relentless improvement in our delivery approach

Qualifications:

Detailed knowledge and experience in implementing ITrelated business projects, which involve multiple activities and streams of people from both IT and business teams
Experience of agile methodologies, with frequent deliveries in a fastpaced environment
Experience in working with distributed teams
Experience of working in a multichannel digital and/or retail organisation
Gaming industry experience an advantage
JIRA & Confluence experience an advantage
Dynamics 365 experience or implementation an advantage
Technology development background an advantage
