Clinical Nurse/ RN:
Trauma (Critical Care Post Basic)

Our client, a private hospital based in Cape Town are currently recruiting for a
Clinical Nurse/ RN:
Trauma Trained nurse for permanent placement.

The main purpose of the job is nursing care of a patient or groups of patients. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patients needs.

You must act as a role model in the delivery of evidence-based care and you will actively participate in Clinical Governance.

Your key accountabilities will include Patient Care, Personal and Professional Development, Administration and Risk Management.


Requirements:


  • Registered Nursing Qualification (Degree or Diploma)
  • Must be SANC Registered
  • Post basic qualification in Critical Care is highly advantageous
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a trauma emergency department
  • Must reside close to Cape Town City and be able to at times work extended hours
  • Own reliable transport
