Description

Our client, a stable, established manufacturer of Hi Visibility Reflective Clothing and Tape, are looking for a Sales Representative to sell to distributors, resellers and end users.

You will be required to drive sales growth with new customers whilst maintaining and growing the existing customer base.

Driving sales growth.
Maintain and grow customer base, and a network of contacts.
Achieve sales targets set
Regular sales calls on existing and new customers in the assigned territory
Follow up leads in territory
Punctual provision of written quotes to customers
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the territory
Deliver high quality service to all customers and prospects
Complete necessary paperwork and follow company procedures
Follow up on all orders, quotes and queries timeously

- "Up - sell" customers.

Establish segmentation and map potential customers in their segments
Develop a sales plan for the assigned area together with the sales manager
Follow management reporting procedure
Weekly written sales reports, including customer details and reporting of market conditions
Assist other staff if the need requires.
Complete Tenders within sales area and assist resellers and other reps on same tenders.

Requirements:

Experience working with Government departments and have a keen understanding of their processes would be ideal/ or experience selling to a wide range of industries which would be a target market for PPE
A minimum of 5 years sales experience

Computer literate

MS Office
Clear criminal record
Valid Driver's license

On Offer:

R20 000 including benefit contribution. Company car, fuel and maintenance (can be used for reasonable private us although perks tax does apply). Company cell phone.

Good commission on over-target sales - as an indication, you should reach R25 000 in commission if not more as it's uncapped.

Discretionary 13th cheque based on company and individual performance.
