Are you a creative marketing professional that lives and breathes all things marketing?

  • Do you have 5+ years in content writing, copywriting and social media marketing? If so, we want to talk to you.
The Content Marketing Manager will produce high-quality, engaging content promoting the company's products and services. This includes managing the company blog and social media platforms.

As a creative marketing professional in this role, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing various content types, including blog posts, articles, case studies, e-books, website copy, social media posts, and more.

The Content Marketing Manager will work closely with other members of the internal marketing team as well as external designers and writers to ensure that all content is aligned with the company's overall marketing strategy and brand messaging.


Principal responsibilities:


  • Develop highquality content that articulates the brand voice and strategy.
  • Plan and execute the content strategy to drive leads, subscribers, and awareness (traffic).
  • Perform copywriting for all types of traditional and digital media.
  • Create and implement the social media plan/calendar.
  • Manage the company blog and social media platforms.
  • Create various types of written content such as blog posts, articles, case studies, ebooks, website copy, and more.
  • Write graphic design briefs and manage external designer's deadlines.
  • Work with external writers and manage deadlines.
  • Create and maintain branded company materials such as company profiles, product brochures, PowerPoint presentations and all branded merchandise.
  • Plan and manage all content requirements for project videos and case studies.
  • Increase online engagement by sourcing highquality, interesting articles for our target market.
  • Analyse data regularly to understand the impact of content.
  • Edit, proofread and improve content.
  • Any other job duties associated with this role.

PERSON DESCRIPTION


Five years plus experience as a content creator, marketing or communications professional is essential; social media and experience within the renewable energy sector are advantageous.


Specific attributes:


  • BCom/BA in marketing, communications, journalism or related (essential).
  • Five years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, content management or creative writing for the web.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is required.
  • Demonstrable experience in writing engaging copy for campaigns that convert.
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing, especially on LinkedIn.
  • Extremely techsavvy and able to navigate multiple platforms with ease.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HubSpot or other CRM software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Deadlinedriven and determined.
  • Good timemanagement skills.

Desirable attributes:


  • Content writer / Copywriter / Content creator.
  • Social media marketing on LinkedIn.
  • Journalism / Public Relations experience.
  • Inbound marketing and HubSpot CRM.
  • Brand management

What Does Success Look Like?

By month 3:

Complete the Sales & Marketing HubSpot online courses. Have a good understanding of all our software tools and processes. Create copy for all project videos and social media posts with mínimal assistance.


By month 6:

Confidently explain our solar and battery storage offering and its value to our customers. Create and implement the monthly social media plan/calendar for each quarter. Plan and easily manage content requirements for all project videos and case studies.
