Essential Criteria for successful consideration:
- A postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel, including ADVANCED functions and formulas essential
years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with demonstrated expertise in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, payroll, budgeting, forecasts, and benefits administration.
- Excellent understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities**
Recruitment and attraction
- Administering the internal and external recruitment process from start to end including Advertising & Sourcing, Screening resumes, Interviewing process, employment checks
Employee benefits
Induction
- Administer the setup of the School's induction programme for new employees across departments. Facilitate the process to ensure the completeness of the induction process across the departments.
Probationary process and period:
- Administer and monitor the completeness of the 6month probation.
- Provide the Head of HR and department Head with monthly reports of progress or any concerns around competencies to perform in the role
Performance management and development:
- Support line managers and employees through the performance management process, sending out reminders to complete the reviews.
- Collation of quarterly and annual performance management for the school.
Payroll administration
Oversee and direct payroll procedures, ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations Administering the monthly payroll changes for the outsourced providers
- LabourNet
- Coordination and documenting all payrollrelated changes throughout the month, including, changes to medical aid, leave, group life, salary adjustments, retirement annuity, and other benefits
- Preparing and reconciling the monthly MS Excel payroll report and other payrollrelated documents for the outsourced payroll provider before the 15th of the month; including calculating salaries, bonuses, and other compensation components accurately and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Financial tracking and administration
- Updating of HRM budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Processing of all HR skills training, wellness, and recruitment invoices for the organisation:
HRIS administration
Uploading and administering of staff documentation onto the HRIS:
- Ensure that all staff documentation is accurately recorded and updated.
