Description

Management of cattle farm and staff in its entirety

- Key Performance Areas:

Responsible for managing all aspects of the wellbeing of livestock

Proven ability to AI

Managing veldt, fire breaks, stock water & fencing

Dehorning, castrating, dosing, vaccinating & dipping

Managing of staff

Assist other DMO properties as required (e.g. fires, extra manpower etc)


- Educational Requirements:

Minimum ND Agriculture


- Experience Requirements:
3 to 5 years cattle/beef farming experience


- General Competence Requirements:

Ability to speak XHOSA

Hard working, deadline driven, diligent

Accurate, organized and demonstrates initiative

Clean employment and criminal record

Be prepared to work overtime

Computer skills (Excel, Word, Dropbox)


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R20, R30,000.00 per month

  • High School (matric) (required)

Experience:


  • Beef cattle farm management: 3 years (required)
