    Sunninghill, Johannesburg: PROPERTY BOOKKEEPER

    Duration: 5 months fixed period only

    Minimum Requirements:

    -Well presentable and professional individual, aged 30+ years

    -Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must

    -Matric / Grade 12

    -Relevant tertiary qualification in Bookkeeping/Finance a must (Certificate/Diploma)

    -Minimum 2 years recent full Bookkeeping to Trial Balance experience a must, specifically in Property Bookkeeping / Property environment a must

    -Fully independently functional

    -Computer literate in MS Office (with excellent MS Excel skills) and Zero Accounting a must

    -QuickBooks proficiency advantageous

    -Organised and able to cope with pressure

    -Own transport

    -Strong numeric skills and attention to detail

    -Stable employment record and contactable references

    -Clear Criminal Record

    -Residing within daily commuting distance

    -Must be immediately available

    Work hours: Mondays to Fridays from 08h00am 17h00pm, and two Saturdays per month from 08h00am 12h00pm

    Duties:

    -Full Bookkeeping to Trial balance for Property Development company

    -Assist with leasing and tenant queries

    -Full General Ledger function, Creditors and expenses

    -Cash book- and fixed asset management

    -Planning and organizing

    -Preparing and reconciling creditors payments in and outside country borders

    -Preparing and reconciling of cash books

    -Ensuring transactions are accurately recorded in GL

    -Reconciliations of GL accounts

    -Ensuring fixed assets are accurately recorded and depreciated

    -Ensuring expenses are minimised

    -Budgeting and financial planning

    -Create and implement policies, procedures and workflows to create operational efficiencies and minimise manual processes

    -Preparation of all tax returns (VAT and Dividends Tax)

    -Resolve tax queries from SARS

    -Assist in overall tax compliance

    -Preparation of the monthly management packs
    -Provide assistance on special projects within the finance function

    -Assist in obtaining information for ad hoc requests received from both internal and external stakeholders

    Salary: R R gross maximum (depending on experience)
