Job Advert Summary:

Applications are invited for a dynamic, highly motivated and creative teacher to join the Primary School.

Minimum Requirements:

Appropriate university degree and professional qualification;
Current Registration with SACE;
Computer literacy and ability to integrate IT suitably in teaching/learning, however, special interest and further experience in this area will be advantageous.
A dynamic, creative personality with strong interpersonal skills;
A commitment to full participation in the extramural activities of the school;
Teaching experience within the IEB system is essential;
Experience in the demands of the GET and FET curricula;
Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of the school.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

Prepare for, teach and assess beyond the requirements of the CAP's Document and Requirements;
Create a classroom atmosphere conducive to healthy, connective and where possible cuttingedge teaching and learning;
Set, mark and evaluate class work, homework, assessments, examinations and provide regular and meaningful feedback to students/staff/parents;
Moderate formal assessments and/or research projects;
Monitor, encourage pastoral care;
Engage and participate in the reflection and staff development process of the School.
